Following Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse's recent and well-deserved Academy Award win, Sony Pictures Entertainment has uploaded the animated film's opening onto YouTube. Precisely, the first nine minutes of Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse are available to watch online, entirely for free.

This preview of the film serves to promote the recent digital home-release of the film and the upcoming physical home-release. The segment of the film is shared between Chris Pine's heroic and perfect incarnation of Peter Parker introducing himself as well as our introduction to Miles Morales.

The former half features a fast-paced montage of Spider-Man's heroic feats from throughout the years, referencing multiple previous incarnations of the web-slinger like Tobey Maguire and Tom Holland's, as well as his many brand deals. Interestingly, the mention of the iconic Spider-Man theme song is absent from this preview, though almost certainly won't be missing from the home release.

We're then introduced to Miles who sings along to Post Malone's "Sunflower" before getting ready for School. After embarrassing himself and making a friend in class, Miles sneaks out to visit his beloved uncle and that's when the preview cuts off.
