Solid stop-motion animated films are few and far between so the latest offering from director Alexandra Lemay should pique the interest of any fans of the medium. The short will be shown at the 2018 Palm Springs International ShortFest for competition and possible distribution and conversion into a feature-length film.
The film follows an over-bearing mother and the daughter who has to deal with her. Amanda Plummer voices one of the leads.
The film is inspired by Lemay's own upbringing, coming of age with a single-parent mother, who was also a dog breeder.
