Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse swings into theaters tomorrow (Friday in some locations), and we'll be taking a closer look at the animated sequel's biggest moments over the next few days.
Don't worry, be won't be revealing any major spoilers in this particular article, because, well, there's really nothing to spoil!
It's a rare thing for any superhero movie these days, but unlike Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Across does not have a single post-credits scene. We caught a press screening, so there's a chance something might be added to the version of the film cinemagoers see this weekend, but it seems unlikely given how the movie wraps-up.
That would obviously take us into spoiler territory, so we'll leave it there, but at least now you won't have to stay in your seat until the credits have rolled!
The review embargo lifted earlier today (you can check out our verdict here), and the movie currently sits at 94% on Rotten Tomatoes.
In Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, after reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence. However, when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.
The confirmed voice cast includes Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, Oscar Isaac, Jake Johnson, Issa Rae, Jason Schwartzman, Daniel Kaluuya, Shea Whigham, Jorma Taccone, Luna Lauren Vélez, and Brian Tyree Henry.
