This week saw the announcement of Disney-Pixar's 2020 animated film, Onward, which will star Tom Holland and Chris Pratt. The latter recently took to social media to comment on the announcement.

In his tweet, the Avengers: Infinity War star describes Onward as "next level" and its story "beautiful" as well as revealed that he was brought to tears simply by Pixar's pitch for the film.

Pratt's tweet goes as such: "So thrilled to be a part of this. I can't tell you much, but... I will tell you this, when we visited Pixar to hear the pitch I straight up cried. This one is next level. God willing, in about a year and a half you'll be moved as well. We have a BEAUTIFUL story coming your way."

Onward is set in a suburban fantasy world, in which two teenage elf brothers live. The film sees the pair embark on an extraordinary quest to discover if there is still a little magic left out there. It's easy to see how such a story could lead to tears, and not exactly unexpected given Pixar's tear-jerking track-record.

What do you think of Pratt's tweet? Are you looking forward to Onward?

Onward is set to arrive in theatres in 2020.
