Jason Scott Lee has reportedly joined the cast of the upcoming live-action remake of, the animated Disney classic, Mulan.

The Hollywood Reporter recently reported that Lee will be playing Bori Khan. The character described as "a warrior leader who is intent on avenging his father's death."

Lee's previous run-ins with the mouse-house include starring as Mowgli in the 1994 live-action adaptation of The Jungle Book, portraying Aladdin in Arabian Nights, and voicing David Kawena in Lilo & Stitch. Beyond Disney, some of his well-known roles include Dragon: The Bruce Lee StoryBack to the Future Part II, and Hawaii Five-O.

Niki Caro is directing Mulan. The titular role will be played by Liu Yefei. If you're unfamiliar with classic animated film, it follows a woman named Mulan disguising herself as a man to join the military, and thereby saving China in the process.

Lee is only the newest member in the supporting cast, other names attached to the highly anticipated remake include: Gong Li, Donnie Yen, Jet Li, Yoson An, Ron Yuan, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Xana Tang, and Chum Ehelepola.
