Frozen 2 will be coming to theatres in November, six years after its predecessor did so. Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff, and Josh Gad will all be reprising their roles (as Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and Olaf respectively). Additionally, some new characters will be introduced and voiced by Evan Rachel Wood and Sterling K. Brown.

Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck will also be returning to direct the upcoming sequel. Despite the same talent being enlisted to put the film together, it'll apparently be quite different to its predecessor. Kristen Bell recently paid a visit to San Diego Comic-Con wherein she spoke about Frozen 2 with Comicbook.com.

"You know I can’t tell you anything, Disney is so tight-lipped about it. What can I say? I have seen parts of it, because when we record we see things, I haven’t seen the whole thing, but I’ve obviously read the script." While the actress admitted that she couldn't reveal too much, she did tease that the film will be a continuation of the first instalment moreso than a whole new thing altogether.

"It is not ‘Episode II’ of Frozen. It is a story that we waited a long time so that it would reveal itself to the creators. What is the next progression in these characters’ lives that needs to be told? Not just like, ‘What’s another storyline we could do?’"

Bell was hesitant to call Frozen 2 "a little more adult," but said that "it grew up a bit." Despite this, it's still appropriate for people of all ages. “It’ll still be appropriate for kids and kids will still love it, but these girls have grown up as well a little bit. I think the original fans of Frozen, who were little girls and now might not think it’s for them, will be pleasantly surprised.”

Why was Elsa born with magical powers? The answer is calling her and threatening her kingdom. Together with Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven, she'll set out on a dangerous but remarkable journey. In “Frozen,” Elsa feared her powers were too much for the world. In “Frozen 2,” she must hope they are enough.

Frozen 2 is set to arrive in theatres on November 22nd, 2019.
