Onward will be Disney-Pixar's first original property in a while. It will see Dan Scanlon return to work with the studio, having previously directed Monsters University. The film's cast includes: Tom Holland, Chris Pratt, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Octavia Spencer. It'll reportedly be an animated fantasy-adventure.

Yesterday saw some stills from the Onward released, and now Pixar has posted the film's first poster to their Twitter (@Pixar). To top it off, the animation studio also revealed that the very first trailer for Onward will release later tonight - during the first game of the NBA Finals - as well as reaffirmed the film's release date.

"The new trailer will debut TONIGHT during the NBA Finals. #PixarOnward cometh to theaters March 6, 2020," their tweet read.

The new poster, which you can see below, features both Ian and Barley. These are the two elvish brothers who are voiced by Tom Holland and Chris Pratt respectively. Ian is the one who is interestingly wielding a seemingly magic staff, while Barley sits atop his van reading what will is most likely a spellbook.
