There doesn't seem to be much hype for Disney's live-action Peter Pan remake (probably because we've seen so many takes on this story over the years), but that may change after fans get a look at some footage.
Star Ever Anderson (Wendy) has taken to Instagram to announce that the first teaser trailer for Peter Pan and Wendy will be released online at some point tomorrow.
There have been numerous live-action takes on the beloved tale at this point (most of which have underwhelmed), but The Green Knight director David Lowery's involvement has piqued a lot of interest and led to speculation that he'll be making some significant changes to the story.
The filmmaker did describe his movie as "The Revenant with flying kids," so it certainly sounds like we're in for a considerably less conventional take!
Peter Pan and Wendy also stars Jude Law (Captain Marvel) as Captain Hook, Yara Shahidi (Black•ish) as Tinker Bell; Molly Parker (House of Cards) as Mrs. Darling; and Alan Tudyk (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) as Mr. Darling.
The movie still hasn't been given an official release date, but is expected to premiere on Disney+ later this year.
