These Girls Dressed as HEY ARNOLD Characters for Halloween

Hey Arnold is one of the most popular cartoons on Nick back in the 90s, which is why these girls chose to dress as the characters for Halloween.

It’s time for Halloween, and guess what? We love group costumes, especially when they work. A group of girls decided that they’ll dress up as Hey Arnold characters, and from what we can tell, they did a good job.

In the picture, we have Helga, Phoebe, Arnold, Gerlad, Eugene, and Harold. Each girl did their best to pull off the costume and the mannerism of their respective characters, and we’re impressed. It makes us wonder if a female version of Hey Arnold is possible.

"Hey Arnold! was my favorite cartoon as a kid, and being as though I make clothes, I was excited to bring it to life this year with my girls," according to Cherie Jackson. "With their help, we put the costumes together in two hours."

She shared other photos of the costumes on Instagram, and each one looks just s great. It reminds us of the recent reimagining of popular cartoons with primarily black lead characters.

Overall, it’s a good look. Hopefully, we can get to see a reboot of Hey Arnold in the future because it was one of the best cartoons in the 90s. If they do reboot it, allowing the show to keep the 90s look and feel would force older fans to return in the thousands just to get that taste of nostalgia.

After all, there aren’t that many cartoons these days that cater to older folks from the 90s.
