As reported earlier today, legendary voice actress Russi Taylor passed away on July 26th at the age of 75. She provided her voice to a plethora of characters, the most notable of those being: Minnie Mouse, Martin Prince (of The Simpsons), and Huey, Dewey, and Louie (of the original DuckTales).

Al Jean, an executive producer of The Simpsons, recently shared a statement in regards to the passing of Taylor. He shared his condolences in a tweet, which read as follows: "Deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Russi Taylor a true delight to work with."

With Taylor having passed, a question that naturally arises is: What happens to Martin Prince? Well, a new report by Comicbook.com supposes that the nerdy character will be retired rather than recast.

The report notes that, when Marcia Wallace passed away in 2013, Jean and the show's other producers made the decision to retire her character (Mrs. Krabappel). Similar situations have also occured throughout the years, all with the same result.

We know that Martin will feature in the next season of The Simpsons as he features on the poster for the upcoming "Treehouse of Horror" episode. However, beyond that, he'll likely cease to appear of the show altogether.
