Back in July, it was announced that legendary voice actor Russi Taylor had passed away at the age of 75 —
more on that here.
Taylor was best known for voicing Minnie Mouse, Huey, Dewey, and Louie (of the original
DuckTales cartoon), as well as Martin Prince, Sherri and Terri (of
The Simpsons).
Back when her passing was first announced, it was believed that the characters that she voiced on
The Simpsons would be retired. However, it turns out a new voice actor will play the characters. Executive producer Al Jean recently took to social media to announce that Grey DeLisle will now voice Martin Prince, Sherri, and Terri.
In fact, DeLisle debuted as the characters in last night's episode.
"New episode tonight! Please welcome Grey DeLisle as the new voice of Sherri, Terri and Martin Prince," Jean wrote in a tweet (
@AlJean).
