For the longest time, those in Hollywood have been trying to return the classic 80s cartoon and toyline, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, to the big screen. Since it's first (and admittedly not so great) foray to the big screen, Masters of the Universe, starring Dolph Lundgren, there has been very little demand to get the protector of Castle Greyskull in theaters.

Recently, an announcement came that the film had finally gotten the green light to bring the film back to the silver screen! With the announcement came the reveal that To All the Boys I've Loved Before actor Noah Centineo would have the power as the titular role of Prince Adam/He-Man. Since the reveal, he has been hard at work getting in shape for the role and was able to sit down with Looper to discuss his process.

When it came to dieting, Centineo stated, "It's a lot of eating...You would think it's awesome, but it's like, 6,000 calories a day." Centineo also added that "As a person, you're supposed to eat like, 2,000 calories a day." but followed up by saying, "It's great, I'm not complaining, but, you know, if I'm honest, I eat so many eggs." Since he started his diet and workout regimen, he has put on thirty pounds of muscle and lifting insanely heavy amounts of weight!

From the sound and looks of things, it seems like Noah Centineo has been putting in hard to work to do the character the justice he deserves. Make sure to check out the full article here, and don't forget to share your thoughts in the comments!
