PEPPA PIG Is Coming To America In A Four-Part Nickelodeon Special Airing This March

Peppa Pig and her family are set to go on a cross-country road trip across America as they travel to Hollywood to star in a blockbuster movie alongside Super Potato.

Peppa Pig, everyone's favorite British piggy, has her sights set on Hollywood. The titular pig has gone on countless adventures across the pond but now she -- along with her family -- will be coming to the United States as part of a new four-part special airing on Nickelodeon on March 5.

According to the synopsis provided by, "When Peppa's family wins a chance to star in a Hollywood blockbuster, they bring their catchy British accents to the States, setting out on a cross-country road trip filled with plenty of sightseeing."

On the way to Tinseltown, Peppa, Mummy, Daddy and younger brother George will make stops in New York, "the South," "Canyon Country," and eventually Hollywood, where the four will star opposite Super Potato in a movie titled Vegetables in Space. A spoof trailer and poster for the fictional Hollywood blockbuster shows Peppa and her family wearing broccoli costumes on set.

In the laugh-out-loud movie-within-a-show, Peppa and her family tag along with Super Potato and Hash Brown as they battle against space carrots overtaking the moon.

Peppa Pig's visit to America will span four episodes that are titled "America," "The Diner," "Canyon Country" and "Hollywood." Peppa and her family will presumably visit each of the aforementioned parts of the country in each episode. Seeing America and all of its tropes and stereotypes portrayed through the eyes of a British pig and her family -- and the show's signature humor -- will undoubtedly be a hoot, err, snort?

The new Peppa Pig event will air on Friday, March 5 at 8:00 a.m. ET on Nickelodeon. Leading up to the event, Nickelodeon will air "Best of Peppasodes" all week long from Monday, March 1, through Thursday, March 4, at 8:00 a.m. ET. The four-part special will kick off a new season of the popular animated show.
