After the pseudo-cliffhanger at the end of Helluva Boss Episode 7, fans been awaiting the next episode to cap off the season. The thing is, it never came and still hasn't and fans were kind of left in the dark about its production and the show's future. Bear in mind, in tandem, the show's big brother, Hazbin Hotel, was going through somewhat of a rough patch with fans thanks to having to axe many of the fan-favorite actors.
Well, it turns out on the top of the month, fans have finally got some insight into why it is we haven't heard from the HB team since October. In short, it comes down to producing the show and the ambitions the team has for this "side story" to Hazbin Hotel.
In a tweet released on Monday to the official Twitter, the team notes that the finale is still coming out and that it just needs some more TLC until they feel right releasing it. They also seem to indicate that it's not too far in the future that we'll see a conclusion to this season.

That same tweet also brings up the second season of the YouTube-housed series and how they've already made a bunch of progress on Season 2. That said, they haven't given fans much to go off of, other than that the episodes will be longer and they hope to release episodes faster.
