On September 16 and 17, 2023, The Uncanny Experience will take place in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The historic Minneapolis Club will be transformed into the Xavier Institute, and fans who attend can expect lectures, classes, a mutant market, plus iconic settings with Wolverine's bedroom, Cerebro, the Danger Room, and more.
Special guests will include legendary writer Chris Claremont, a number of stars from X-Men: The Animated Series and X-Men '97, Colossus actor Daniel Cudmore (X-Men: Days of Future Past), artists Nathan Szerdy and Ale Garza, and many more.

We recently spoke with Chandler Poling, one of the founders and producers of The Uncanny Experience, and X-Men '97 star Lenore Zann (Rogue), about what fans can expect from the event. You'll find the full interview on ComicBookMovie.com soon, but for now, we have an excerpt from our chat with Lenore to share with you.
We asked the legendary actress about recent comments she's already started working on season 2 and learned what it's been like to play Rogue again.
"It's fantastic to get this opportunity to re-inhabit the character of Rogue who is my favorite character I’ve played to date," she says, careful not to give too much away. "I’m grateful to the fans for their loyalty and support for our original series - and for my performance - which has made this possible."
"And I’m also grateful to Beau DeMayo and Charley Feldman from X-Men '97 for insisting I come back as Rogue."
As for what we can expect from the powerful mutant in this revival, Zann adds: "As usual, Rogue will go through a lot in X-Men '97. Like me, she’s a passionate woman who can’t help wearing her heart on her sleeve. So, buckle up for a wild ride!"
The news that Zann would reprise her role as Rogue was met with an overwhelmingly positive response and it's near-impossible to imagine anyone else lending their voice to this version of the character. Needless to say, we can't wait to see what's next for the mutant and how Lenore approaches this long-awaited return.
X-Men '97 doesn't currently have a release date but you can learn more about The Uncanny Experience below.
