As excitement for X-Men '97 continues to build, a new gallery of official promo art for the X-Men: The Animated Series revival has been released.

In that, the entire team receives the spotlight, including characters like Bishop, Morph, Sunspot, and Magneto. They're all new additions to this team in the wake of Professor X's disappearance, and as X-Men rosters go, we'd say this one is suitably comic-accurate (and formidable).

With threats like Mister Sinister and the Sentinels on the horizon, the X-Men will need all the power they can muster if they hope to make it out of this sequel series in one piece. Marvel Studios' larger plans for the property remain unclear, though we're excited to spend more time in this world, regardless.

Talking about plans for a second season, X-Men '97 Head Writer Beau DeMayo recently said, "[Production] is going really, really well. We’re just in post-production on Season 1 and [right now] writing the finale for Season 2," he confirms. "I cannot be happier."

That certainly bodes well, though we'd appreciate some news on the first batch of episodes before getting too excited about the second. Marvel Studios must have a plan, though, and with mutants starting to find their way into the MCU, there's a chance the premiere is being saved for closer to Deadpool 3's release.

After all, with Hugh Jackman finally about to suit up in live-action, that feels like the perfect time to bring these costumed heroes back and remind moviegoers what they're supposed to look like!

Time will tell, but for now, you can check out this new X-Men '97 promo art in the Tweets below.

As of now, we're not expecting the show to hit Disney+ until sometime in 2024.
