Any series lasting for 26 seasons is arguably a massive success, and the same goes for South Park, whos creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker are releasing the complete twenty-sixth season on Blu-Ray and DVD next week on November 11th. Having explored the adventures for ourselves, we are sad to say that unlike recent seasons this installment of the show doesn't add anything memorable or particularly special to the heaps of episodes already available.
Recent seasons have shown that concepts like member berries, PC Principal, and Winnie the Pooh are all examples of recent ideas that stood out among South Park episodes. Since there wasn't anything specifically shiny this season that stood out either character-wise of plot-wise, we have instead chosen to do a round-up of the episode titles to show you what topics this season chooses to tackle and leave it up to you whether you choose to tune into the episodic chaos.
There episode count intself comes in at a disappointing six installments. The premiere, Cupid Ye, is a weak opener which sees Cartman sabotaging the friendship of Kyle and Tolkien and drumming up town racism toward Jewish people in spreading the stereotype that Kyle runs Hollywood. The adventure isn't without it's laughs, though the racial humor is weak and not something that is usually so glaringly empty when it comes to the jokes landing. The remaining episodes are The Worldwide Privacy Tour, which sees the prince of Canada moving to South Park to pursue a life of seclusion among the residents, Japanese Toilet, which tackles the visible poverty line among the lower class, and Deep Learning, which utilizes ChatGPT to forward a plot where everyone in town is using the cheap system to get by on homework, teaching, and even relationships.
The final two episodes are titled DickinBaus Hot Dogs and Spring Break and respectively see the boys open their own restaurant as well as Garrison retunring to his old depraved ways during a Spring Break celebration.
