Since 1984, the world has been obsessed with Hasbro's Transformers line. The toyline turned cartoon has spawned into a multi-billion dollar franchise that is still going strong even today with its new toyline, Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy.
Since its first part of the trilogy, Siege, the toyline has taken things back to basics by bringing back the essence of what made the toys so great while also adding a modern flair. Now, introduced as a new series on Netflix, Siege acted as the first season and was met with a hugely positive response.
With the release of the first season, fans have been waiting for the next adaption, which brings the toys full circle, Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy - Earthrise. Bringing the classic 1984 designs to life, the second season was teased during Hasbro's virtual Pulse Con; however, it looks like the teaser sees the journey to earth take a lot longer than previously assumed.
Introducing mercenaries, a faction of Transformers only really seen in the comics, the new season promises a continuing deep dive into the lore of Transformers, begging only one question, "How much of Earth will be in Earthrise?" It looks like fans will have to tune in to see! Make sure to check out the trailer below, and don't forget to share your thoughts in the comments!
