The Helluva Boss universe is officially expanding and it’s about to get a whole lot wilder. In a new interview, lead voice actor Brandon Rogers opened up about the show's upcoming crossover with Hazbin Hotel, while also confirming that future episodes of Helluva Boss will be fully uncensored when Season 3 debuts on Amazon Prime Video.

Originally an independent YouTube series created by Vivienne Medrano (aka Vivziepop), Helluva Boss has exploded in popularity since its 2019 pilot, earning a massive cult following for its dark humor, chaotic energy, and unapologetically hellish themes. Now, with Amazon picking up the rights to stream Seasons 3 and 4 before they hit YouTube, the series is leveling up in a big way.

Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss Are Finally Crossing Over

While fans have long speculated about a crossover between Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel, Rogers has now confirmed that the two shows will intersect though exactly how it will happen remains a tightly kept secret.

"It is crazy looking at a script and seeing Hazbin characters next to your character’s name," Rogers told Nerd Reactor. "I don’t think anyone’s expecting it in this fashion… I think it’s brilliant."

Though he couldn't reveal which characters will appear together, Rogers teased that fans will be shocked (in a good way) when the crossover happens. Both shows share the same hellish universe, but this marks the first time their stories will intertwine on-screen.

Unfiltered Chaos: Helluva Boss Goes Uncensored

Perhaps even more exciting for fans: Helluva Boss Season 3 will be completely uncensored on Amazon Prime, removing the restrictions the show faced on YouTube.

"There are a lot of really good jokes that got censored," Rogers said. "But I’m not blaming YouTube… YouTube is literally the free place where everyone can watch anything. I get it. Kids are on it."

He emphasized that streaming on Prime gives the creators more freedom to push boundaries, including graphic violence and strong language that had previously been muted or bleeped out.

"There are so many times where Blitzo says it, and it’s bleeped out… I said c*nt. I want you to know that I said c*nt."

Fans of the series’ raw humor and intense moments can expect a bolder and more uninhibited experience than ever before.

About Helluva Boss

For newcomers, Helluva Boss follows Blitzo (voiced by Rogers), the eccentric and chaotic leader of I.M.P. (Immediate Murder Professionals) a hell-based assassination agency. The series combines over-the-top comedy with surprising emotional depth, especially in Blitzo’s turbulent relationship with the demon prince Stolas.

The crew includes:

Moxxie - a nervous but skilled marksman (Richard Horvitz)

Millie - a fiery assassin and Moxxie’s wife (Vivian Williams)

Loona - the snarky hellhound receptionist (Erica Lindbeck)

Medrano returns as executive producer, with Tom Murray also serving in the role. The voice cast includes a star-studded mix from both Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel, including Alex Brightman, Cristina Vee, James Monroe Iglehart, and Bryce Pinkham.

With Helluva Boss Season 3 on the horizon, a universe-colliding crossover in the works, and a new platform giving the creators full creative control, this might be the most explosive season yet.
