Thanks to Stranger Things, David Harbour has become a household name in recent years. Playing parts in many comic book movies such as Hellboy, Black Widow, and Suicide Squad has only helped his familiarity with audiences.
Netflix is now utilizing their Stanger Things frontman to voice in another original series, though it couldn't be farther from the series from The Duffer Brothers. An animated show, Q-Force, is the name of the cartoon that Harbour is taking part in.
What really makes Q-Force stand apart from any of Netflix's other animations is that the series is focused on a team of all queer members. The only spy on the force that isn't a member of the LGBTQ community is a straight white guy, and he's being brought to life by David Harbour.
This is a far cry from Harbour's usual roles, just because of the sheer uniqueness of Q-Force. However, it could mean that this show will reach audiences that would normally dismiss this as an agenda-driven series as not being worth their time, though that remains to be seen until it premiers next month.

Some heroes have more pride than others. A gay superspy and his scrappy LGBTQ squad fight to prove themselves to the agency that underestimated them. Today, West Hollywood… tomorrow, the world!
Q-FORCE, the first queer spy division, lands September 2 on Netflix.
