Netflix is a melting pot of good and bad products, but one series that seems to always hit high marks despite a controversial nature is Big Mouth, which is raring to drop its fifth season in the near future. To celebrate its nearing release next month, Netflix has shared a trailer and new key art.
The trailer, which was released Friday, saw the introduction of new creatures, akin to the Horomone Monsters seen throughout the series' runtime thus far. These creatures being the lovebugs and hate worms, which are actually one in the same. If it wasn't obvious, Season 5 takes on the theme of love and hate.
This season introduces viewers to Walter, voiced by Feel the Beat's Brandon Kyle Goodman, a lovebug assigned to Nick to push him to pursue his feelings for Jessi until he is publicly rejected. On top of Goodman's appearance, Archer's Pamela Adlon takes the stage as Sonya, Jessi's lovebug companion. The trio will also star in the Big Mouth spin-off, Human Resources.
These two new guest stars aren't the only ones to take spotlight. Ducanville's Adam Scott drops in as Mr. Keating, Milo Murphy's Law's Jemaine Clement is featured this season as Simon Sex, and Kristen Schaal, most known for her role as Louise Belcher on Bob's Burgers, will make her mark as Bernie.
Much of its main cast remains the same from previous seasons. We can all expect Season 5 of Big Mouth to start dropping on Netflix on November 5.
