In February of this year, Netflix and Hasbro announced that they had partnered up to produce an anime Netflix series based on the popular Transformers franchise in the form of Transformers: War for Cybertron: Siege; with an exciting trailer to grab the viewer's attention.
Eventually, it was revealed that Transformers: War for Cybertron: Siege would become available on Netflix on Thursday the 30th of July, and now that we're less than a month away from its release, Netflix and Hasbro have released one final, and rather depressing trailer that reveals some details about the events that led to the fall of Cybertron.
What's interesting about this new series is that it is an origin story that has not really been told before. We've seen bits and pieces over the years, but this will be the first time we will see the what made the Autobots and Decepticons leave their home planet.
Based on what we've seen on both trailers released for Transformers: War for Cybertron: Siege, it seems that the creators have completely nailed the tone of the show; giving it a sense of hopelessness like we haven't seen before.
With this new trailer, Netflix and Hasbro have also taken the opportunity to release two new posters for Transformers: War for Cybetron: Siege, so be sure to check out these new posters, and the all-new trailer down below.
Take a look:
TRANSFORMERS: WAR FOR CYBERTRON TRILOGY: SIEGE begins in the final hours of the devastating civil war between the Autobots and Decepticons. The war that has torn apart their home planet of Cybertron is at a tipping point. Two leaders, Optimus Prime and Megatron, both want to save their world and unify their people, but only on their own terms.
Transformers: War for Cybertron: Siege will become available on Netflix on Thursday the 30th of July.
