Dragon Quest: Your Story is an animated movie based on the Dragon Quest video game series — specifically Dragon Quest V which released on the Super Famicom back in 1992 and was later remastered for the Nintendo DS. The 3D CG anime film originally debuted back in Japan back in August 2019 via Toho.

Last month, a listing surfaced on the official Netflix streaming service website and featured information to do with Dragon Quest: Your Storycheck out that report here. Naturally, many took this as confirmation that the animated film would soon be available on the streaming service.

An insider named Wario64 promptly confirmed that Dragon Quest: Your Story will be coming to Netflix on February 13th. Well, now that day has come. As of today, Dragon Quest: Your Story is now officially available to stream in the West.

You can head over to the film's official Netflix page here. Below is both an official trailer and synopsis for the animated movie.

Adapted from the storyline of DRAGON QUEST V™: Hand of the Heavenly Bride®, DRAGON QUEST YOUR STORY tells the tale of Luca as he follows in his father's footsteps to rescue his beloved mother from the evil grips of Ladja, a high-ranking member of an organization known as The Order of Zugzwang. Failure is not an option as Luca uses the power of magic while battling monsters in his search for the Zenithian sword and the Legendary Hero, his only hope for success. Supervised by the original DRAGON QUEST creator Yuji Horii, the movie runs one hour and 42 minutes.
