Warner Bros. Pictures' Barbie shows no signs of losing any 'kenergy' at the box office. The film grossed another $26 million domestically on Tuesday and is expected to cross $500 million worldwide by the end of Wednesday.
Sequel talks are already underway at Mattel and Warner Bros.
In fact, Mattel is now feeling bullish on all of its other toy-to-film adaptations currently in development including Daniel Kaluuya's Barney, Lilly Collin's Polly Pocket, and Vin Diesel's Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots.
Dare we suggest that a Mattel cinematic universe could be in our near future?
Stay tuned for future updates on Barbie as the film prepares to enter its second weekend of release. Disney's Haunted Mansion hits theaters this Friday, while Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem drops the following week.
