Tom Hanks has been involved with the
Toy Story franchise since it began back in 1995. Voicing Woody is truly one of the renowned actor's most well-known roles.
Hanks recently did an interview on
Jimmy Kimmel Live in which he admitted that the upcoming fourth instalment in the beloved franchise is one of the best movies he has ever seen.
“It’s a great movie, it’s a marvelous movie," told the host.
“We don’t know what they look like — we start going into a recording studio, I think three-and-a-half years ago, and we record for like five hours sessions about every six or eight months, so we don’t know what it’s gonna come out like. It sounds ridiculous because I’m in it, but it’s one of the best movies I’ve ever seen in my life. I don’t know how to put it any other way, it truly is.”
The actor also praised the
"fabulous" newcomers to the franchise in Tony Hale, Christina Hendricks, Keanu Reeves, and Keegan Michael-Key and Jordan Peele - who voice Forky, Gabby Gabby, Duke Caboom, and Ducky and Bunny respectively.
“There is some new talent there," Hanks said in the interview which you can watch below:
Woody has always been confident about his place in the world and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. But when Bonnie adds a reluctant new toy called “Forky” to her room, a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends will show Woody how big the world can be for a toy.
Toy Story 4 is set to arrive in theatres on June 21st, 2019.
