Warner Bros. and Legendary's upcoming Detective Pikachu live-action movie has definitely cemented itself as one of the most highly anticipated films releasing this year; even giving Marvel Studios' Avengers: Endgame a good run for its money.

Boasting the talents of Ryan Reynolds in the lead role as Detective Pikachu himself, the movie has definitely won over both long-time fans of the Pokémon series, and made newcomers excited for the Rob Letterman directed film.

Both official trailers released for Detective Pikachu have managed to accurately depict the fantastic world of Pokémon, and the latest TV spot — released by Ryan Reynolds, no less — shows us even more footage for the highlky anticipated movie.

The first-ever live-action Pokémon movie, “POKÉMON Detective Pikachu” stars Ryan Reynolds as the titular character in the first-ever live-action movie based on the iconic face of the global Pokémon brand—one of the world’s most popular, multi-generation entertainment properties and most successful media franchises of all time.

Detective Pikachu will release in theatres on the 10th of May in 2019.
