Bumblebee is the best received Transformers movie yet, and that's got to be in-part because of the return of the iconic Gen-1 designs. Fans have been clamouring for these beloved looks to make their way into the live-action movies ever since Michael Bay's sharp redesigns debuted over ten years ago.

Thankfully they're here now and fans are grateful - as evidenced by this new post on the Transformers-dedicated subreddit which features a new look at Optimus Prime within the new film. This pic is a close-up look at the Autobot leader's face which reveals all of the fine details that you wouldn't spot from a distance.

Synopsis: On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld), on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary, yellow VW bug.

What do you think of Bumblebee's reviews? Are you looking forward to Bumblebee?
