With Sony's upcoming animated movie Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse set to release in less than a month's time, promotional videos and clips from the film have begun to surface online - this one comes courtesy of Comicbook.com.

Considering Peter and Spider-Ham have already been given the recap treatment in prior promos, and Miles has been front and centre throughout all of the marketing, it's about time Gwen gets some love. This new clip sees Gwen Stacy introduce herself to Peter and reveal her true-self to Miles. She explains how, just like Peter, she's been ripped out of her dimension and thrown into Miles'.

The flashback/recap confirms that her origin is one-for-one in terms of adaptation from the comics as we're shown references to both, her father, Captain Stacy and Peter Parker as The Lizard.

Check out the new clip below:

Synopsis: In the "classic Spider-Man mold", Miles Morales must juggle his high school life with his status as a superhero, as he is introduced to the "Spider-Verse" where there can be more than just one Spider-Man.

What do you think of the featurette? Are you looking forward to Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse?

Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse swings into theatres on December 21st.
