According to Variety, Teen Titans Go! to the Movies is currently tracking for an opening domestic weekend box office between $14-$19 million. Certainly not Marvel Cinematic Universe box office numbers but a respectable haul for a 2D animated feature film.  With such a solid debut, the film is almost guaranteed to finish its theatrical run in the green.

The film follows Robin's zany plan to get a Teen Titans movie produced but along the way, the team stumbles into Deathstroke and uncover his plans to brainwash the Justice League into taking over the world for him.  Will Robin, Cyborg, Raven, Beast Boy and Starfire be able to stop the likes of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern?

Teen Titans Go! to The Movies arrives in theatres on July 27th. Preview showings begin Thursday night, July 26. The film held advance screenings at VidCon on June 22 and will also have an advance screening at SDCC on July 21.

Teen Titans Go! to the Movies Synopsis
It seems to the Teens that all the major superheroes out there are starring in their own movies—everyone but the Teen Titans, that is! But de facto leader Robin is determined to remedy the situation, and be seen as a star instead of a sidekick. If only they could get the hottest Hollywood film director to notice them.

With a few madcap ideas and a song in their heart, the Teen Titans head to Tinsel Town, certain to pull off their dream. But when the group is radically misdirected by a seriously super villain and his maniacal plan to take over the Earth, things really go awry.

The team finds their friendship and their fighting spirit failing, putting the very fate of the Teen Titans themselves on the line!
