A couple of days ago, it was revealed that Halle Bailey will be playing the titular role of Ariel in Disney's upcoming, live-action remake of The Little Mermaid. Additionally, it was revealed that Jacob Tremblay will be playing Flounder and Awkwafina will be playing Scuttle.

With a change of skin colour for the character of Ariel, you'd think that those related to her will be subject to a similar change. King Triton is Ariel's father and somebody has put themselves forward to fill that role.

Terry Crews is known for his roles in Brooklyn Nine-Nine and The Expendables. The actor recently took to social media (@terrycrews) to put his name forward for the afformentioned role alongside a mock-up of sorts. It seems that most think Crews and King Triton are a match made in heaven.
