With Sony's upcoming animated movie Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse set to release in less than a month's time, exciting promotional videos have begun to surface online - this one comes courtesy of Comicbook.com.

This brand new TV spot shows off the unique abilties that, lead character, Miles has - which differentiate him from the other multiversal webslingers. In the comics, Miles typically has the ability to turn himself invisible and to emit electrical charges (on top of the regular Spidey abilities).

While we knew that these powers would feature in Into The Spider-Verse, what this new spot informs us of is that he's incapable of performing either on-command - being in a state of fear seems to activate them.

Check out the TV spot below:

Synopsis: In the "classic Spider-Man mold", Miles Morales must juggle his high school life with his status as a superhero, as he is introduced to the "Spider-Verse" where there can be more than just one Spider-Man.

What do you think of the featurette? Are you looking forward to Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse?

Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse swings into theatres on December 21st.
