With Sony's upcoming animated movie Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse set to release in less than a month's time, exciting promotional videos have begun to surface online - this one comes courtesy of Comicbook.com.

This new TV spot features a bunch of new shots, most predominantly of Mary-Jane Watson (or perhaps Mary-Jane Parker). MJ's up on a pedestal, quite clearly following the demise of one Peter Parker, providing a riveting speech to a crowd of Spidey fans - all of whom are garbed in red and blue to pay homage to their fallen hero.

Check out the TV spot below:

Synopsis: In the "classic Spider-Man mold", Miles Morales must juggle his high school life with his status as a superhero, as he is introduced to the "Spider-Verse" where there can be more than just one Spider-Man.

What do you think of the featurette? Are you looking forward to Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse?

Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse swings into theatres on December 21st.
