Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is widely regarded as one of the best animated films of all time, and a big part of that likely had to do with the initial conceptualization. Peter Ramsey, one of the film's three directors, recently took to social media to share some storyboards for past projects.
Following his very intriguing
storyboards for J.J. Abrams' Superman film, Ramsey compared to difference between live action and animated boards by sharing some from
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. The storyboards look to be images of Miles Morales swinging through the city buildings as well as Prowler.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse followed the adventures of Miles Morales as he was introduced to a multiverse where more than one could don the mask. The film was a smash hit for Sony, earning universal acclaim and bringing in over $375 million at the worldwide box office. Its success sparked plans for multiple spinoffs along with a full-fledged sequel. Sony producer Amy Pascal confirmed that the studio is "definitely hard at work" on the next Spidy animated adventure.
