LeBron James and the Looney Tunes are gearing up for what is undoubtedly the biggest game of the century when the Tune Squad takes the court against the Goon Squad this summer in Warner Bros.' Space Jam: A New Legacy. Few movies with so much anticipation have been cloaked in so much secrecy (we still haven't seen a trailer), but now we've got a fresh batch of stills from the movie, courtesy of Entertainment Weekly.

The images are our best look yet of the Tune Squad in action, including our first look at Lola Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Tasmanian Devil, and Tweety Bird. We also get our first look at Al G Rhythm, the rogue A.I. played by Don Cheadle that pulls James and his son Dom (Cedric Joe) into the Warner 3000 entertainment "Server-verse."

To save his son and escape from this virtual reality nightmare, James rounds up the Tunes in hopes of defeating the Goon Squad, a powered-up roster of gamified super-versions of NBA and WNBA pros.

"It's one of the biggest games, if not the biggest game, I've ever played in," James said of the game. "The Goon Squad is probably the best team ever assembled in basketball history."

Space Jam: A New Legacy is slated to hit theaters on July 16. Like all Warner Bros. films in 2021, it will embrace a simultaneous release in theaters and on the HBO Max streaming service. The images are nice, but we're still eagerly awaiting the first trailer for the film -- especially after that explosive teaser released in January.
