SCOOB: Mark Wahlberg And Jason Isaacs Join The Cast Of Warner Bros.' Animated SCOOBY-DOO Movie

Mark Wahlberg and Jason Isaacs have joined the cast of Scoob, Warner Bros' animated Scooby-Doo film, and will voice two very iconic Hannah-Barbera cartoon characters.

Warner Bros. has added to the already impressive cast of its animated Scooby-Doo movie, Scoob, by bringing on board Mark Wahlberg and Jason Isaacs.

According to Deadline, Wahlberg will play Blue Falcon, a Batman-esque super hero from the Hanna-Barbera produced animated series Dynomutt, Dog Wonder.The show centered on Blue Falcon and his robot dog Dynomutt, who will also appear in Scoob, voiced by Ken Jeong.

Isaacs will portray Dick Dastardly, the iconic mustache-twirling antagonist who has appeared in a number of Hanna-Barbera animated series. Dick Dastardly is reportedly the main villain in Scoob. A duplicitous car racer and pilot, his vehicles are known to carry bombs and traps. He also has a sidekick dog, Muttley.

Wahlberg and Isaacs join an already talented voice cast that includes Zac Efron (Fred), Amanda Seyfried (Daphne), Gina Rodriguez (Velma), Will Forte (Shaggy), Tracy Morgan (Captain Caveman), Frank Welker (Scooby-Doo) and Kiersey Clemons (Dee Dee Skyes). Tony Cervone is directed the animated feature with screenplay from Kelly Freemon Craig and Matt Lieberman. 

Scoob is currently pegged for a May 15, 2020 release.
