A new trailer for Sony Pictures' Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is expected to debut online this coming Monday, and if a new rumor is to be believed, this latest look at the highly-anticipated animated sequel is going to be pretty eventful!
Possible spoilers follow.
We have now heard from several different sources that the second Across the Spider-Verse trailer will feature Spider-Man: No Way Home stars Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire, and Andrew Garfield.
A previous rumor claimed that Holland would appear in the movie when Miles Morales briefly tumbled through an alternate "live-action" reality, but this is the first time we're hearing about a possible reunion between all three big-screen wall-crawlers.
We're not too sure if the actors will actually appear or just provide the voices for their respective characters, but we'd say the former is a strong possibility based on the earlier report.
In Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, after reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Manis catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence. However, when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.
The confirmed voice cast includes Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, Oscar Isaac, Jake Johnson, Issa Rae, Jason Schwartzman, Daniel Kaluuya, Shea Whigham, Jorma Taccone, Luna Lauren Vélez, and Brian Tyree Henry.
