Illumination has slowly been introducing us to the animal characters of The Secret Life Of Pets 2. The upcoming sequel to 2016's blockbuster "about the lives our pets lead after we leave for work or school," features a mix of new and returning characters. However, it seems some of the original film's stars are undergoing some changes.

The latest trailer for The Secret Life Of Pets 2 focuses on Gidget, the adorable white Pomeranian who apparently can also pack a punch when enraged. For whatever reason, Gidget is looking to become a cat in the sequel and helping her with this transformation is Chloe.

Like the previous character trailers for The Secret Life Of Pets 2, the Gidget trailer does little to expand upon the plot of the upcoming film. But it is quite hilarious as Chloe teaches Gidget the rules of being a cat.

The Secret Life of Pets 2 will follow summer 2016’s blockbuster about the lives our pets lead after we leave for work or school each day. Illumination founder and CEO Chris Meledandri and his longtime collaborator Janet Healy will produce the sequel to the comedy that had the best opening ever for an original film, animated or otherwise.

The Secret Life Of Pets 2 hits theaters June 7, 2019.
