Growing up, we've all played the game
Duck, Duck, Goose. Apparently, it's also an animated movie coming to Netflix next week. However, unlike New Line Cinema's movie
Tag, the Netflix film really only shares a name with the childhood game and maybe the vague connection with the game's overall premise of an odd goose fitting in with a bunch of ducks.
In any case, we have a new trailer for the movie
Duck Duck Goose, a
"funny and heartwarming about an unlikely trio's journey to find their flocks." More specifically, as the trailer shows, a carefree goose becomes a reluctant family man when he agrees to take two lost ducklings under his wing.
As his flock's annual migration nears, a carefree goose is grounded with an injury and takes a pair of lost ducklings under his wing.
Duck Duck Goose is directed by Christopher Jenkins (Surf's Up) who also co-wrote the movie along with Rob Muir, Scott Atkinson, and Tegon West, the team behind Shrek and Home. Jim Gaffigan voices the goose Peng, while Zendaya and Lance Lim voice the ducklings.
Duck Duck Goose arrives on Netflix on July 20.
