Based on the iconic video game series of the same name; Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion's Revenge is an upcoming R-rated animated movie which features the voices of Joel McHale, Jennifer Carpenter, David B. Mitchell, and Jordan Rodriguez as Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade, Lord Raiden, and Liu Kang respectively.
Those are by no means the only popular Mortal Kombat characters that will feature in the animated movie (obviously since Scorpion is legitimately namedropped in the title) but they are the characters that feature in the very first official clip from Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion's Revenge (via Gamefragger).
Almost certainly taking place early in the movie; the new clip sees Johnny Cage introduce himself to Liu Kang, Sonja Blade, and Lord Raiden. He's a movie star who thinks quite highly of himself but we're sure he will quickly realise that he's in way out of his depth.
Jeremy Adams (Teen Titans Go! vs. Teen Titans) writes, Ethan Spaulding (Batman: Assault on Arkham) directs. Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion's Revenge will be available digitally on April 12th. What's more, a physical release will follow not long after including both a Blu-ray and DVD version.
