Entertainment Weekly recently debuted 64 photos from some of the year's upcoming blockbusters. One image in particular is from Paramount's upcoming Transformers spinoff: Bumblebee.

The new picture features Hailee Steinfeld's car-savvy Charlie Watson in the midst of comforting her new Volkswagen Beetle, AKA alien-robot Bumblebee. Taking place within Charlie's garage, the photo appears to be from a scene which featured heavily in the film's most recent trailers.

Check out the new still below:

Taking place in the year 1987, being a prequel to Michael Bay's previous Transformers films, Bumblebee seeks refuge in a junkyard in a small California beach town. Charlie, on the brink of turning 18 years old and trying to find her place in the world, soon discovers the battle-scarred and broken Autobot. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns that this is no ordinary yellow Volkswagen.

Bumblebee is directed by Travis Knight and written by Christina Hodson. The film stars Hailee Steinfeld, John Cena, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., John Ortiz, Jason Drucker, and Pamela Adlon.

What do you think of the new image? Are you looking forward to Bumblebee?

Bumblebee arrives in theatres on December 21st
