In good news for Hazbin Hotel fans that been eagerly awaiting news or updates about Season 2 of the hit animated series, that wait is almost over. Series creator Vivienne Medrano (aka Vivziepop) recently stoked fan excitement with a teaser post on social media, promising that a big update for the Hazbin Hotel universe is coming soon.
"I obviously can’t say anything ever but I also am impatient like you guys and all I can say is there will absolutely be an update at SDCC so we are almost there," Medrano wrote.
That means Hazbin Hotel will officially have a presence at San Diego Comic-Con 2025, and fans may finally get what they’ve been waiting for whether it be a trailer, a release date, or even a sneak peek at the long-awaited second season.
Who Will Be at the Panel?
While details about the Hazbin Hotel SDCC panel are still under wraps, cast availability has raised a few eyebrows. Many of the show's core voice actors are currently booked for GalaxyCon Raleigh, which takes place the same weekend as SDCC. the whole line up includes:
- Alex Brightman (Sir Pentious)
- Erika Henningsen (Charlie)
- Blake Roman (Angel Dust)
- Amir Talai (Alastor)
- Jessica Vosk (Lute)
- Brandon Rogers (Katie Killjoy)
- Christian Borle (Vox)
- Lilli Cooper (Velvette)
- Joel Perez (Valentino)
- Daphne Rubin-Vega (Carmilla)
- Krystina Alabado (Cherri Bomb)
Most are listed to appear at GalaxyCon Thursday through Sunday, which could limit their ability to attend SDCC in person. However, there may still be a few surprises in store.
In a recent update, Amir Talai revealed via Instagram that he will only be at GalaxyCon Saturday and Sunday, leaving Thursday and Friday open for a potential SDCC appearance. Additionally, actor Keith David (voice of Husk) was reportedly overheard at ATX Festival saying he will be attending San Diego Comic-Con, adding further intrigue.
What Could Be Revealed?
While Vivziepop didn’t provide specifics, her emphasis on a "real update" suggests the long wait for Season 2 details is almost over. With the series debuting to massive fanfare on Prime Video earlier this year, fans are now hoping for:
A Season 2 release window or air date
An official trailer or first-look footage
News on new cast members or characters
Teasers of musical numbers or storyline hints
After months of speculation and radio silence, Hazbin Hotel fans finally have a real reason to get excited. With SDCC 2025 just around the corner and creator Vivziepop teasing a meaningful update, all signs point to a fiery return to the Happy Hotel.
Whether or not the full cast makes it, there’s no denying that Hazbin Hotel Season 2 is gearing up to make headlines and fans are ready to descend into hell once more.
