It has been six months since
Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse was released into theatres. Since then the film has garnered universal and immense acclaim, even going as far as to win the Academy Award for "Best Animated Feature Film," not to mention countless other notable awards.
Mikey Neumann was a creative director and writer for video-games such as
Brothers in Arms,
Borderlands, and
Borderlands 2. He worked for Gearbox Software for sixteen years and, after departing the studio on account of health issues, began a YouTube series wherein he analyses and critiques films. The series goes by the name of
"Movies with Mikey," and was nominated for an Emmy award in 2017.
The
latest instalment in the video series tackles
Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, explaining why the film has gotten so much praise, won so many award, and perhaps deserves even more.
