In other words, it is already a good week for anyone excited for Mulan. But the good news is far from over, as Deadline reported earlier this morning. The characters of Ling and Po, two of Mulan's loveable sidekicks and fellow warriors, have been cast. Jimmy Wong (Video Game High School) will play Ling and Doua Moua (Gran Torino) will play Po.

Anyone familiar with the 1998 Disney film Mulan will know why these characters are so beloved by fans of the film. the bring a hefty dose of comic relief into the sometimes grim events of battle that Mulan sees, and their featured song, A Girl Worth Fighting For, is one of the most endearing of the movie. With the comedy displayed by Wong in Video Game High School and the acting chops displayed by Moua in Gran Torino, this casting is sure to live up to fans' expectations. Disney's live-action Mulan hits theaters March 27th, 2020
