Director Marc Forster is showing a bit of range with his Winnie the Pooh adaptation following his more well-known works, World War Z and Quantum of Solace.  Then again, he did recently direct the Peter Pan-inspired Finding Neverland to perhaps Christopher Robin is right in his wheelhouse?

Audiences will get to decide for themselves when the film hits theaters on August 03. IMP Awards has spotted a new international poster for the film which appears to be promoting its release in Japan, where it's dated for a September 14 release.

The film follows a now-adult Christopher Robin who unexpectedly reconnects with Winnie the Pooh and co. in an unexpected manner.
