Three months ago, the first ever live-action
Pokemon film arrived in theatres. While you've been able to buy
Detective Pikachu digitally for a fortnight now, you can now bring home a physical copy of the film as it's Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD home release has arrived.
Both the physical and digital versions of the film are currently only available in the US. They will be coming to Europe and other continents in a month's time (via
Gamefragger).
Like the digital version, the new physical copies all include a bunch of awesome special features. You can find out how the crew put the live-action film together with a plethora of behind-the-scenes featurettes. Also included are some deleted and alternate scenes. Finally, there's
"Detective Mode" which will point out Detective Pikachu's many Easter Eggs and references.
