Bumblebee is less than a month away and thus Paramount have begun releasing new and exciting promos for the upcoming and highly-anticipated Transformers spinoff - this one comes courtesy of Comicbook.com.

While there's a bit of new footage on show in the new spot, the stand-out is the soundtrack - that being Yello's "Oh Yeah". The song is often attributed to the classic film Ferris Bueller's Day Off, so it provides us with a pretty clean-cut idea of what Bumblebee's tone will be - thus seperating it from Michael Bay's bombastic instalments.

Check out the new TV spot below:

Synopsis: On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld), on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary, yellow VW bug.

What do you think of the new clip? Are you looking forward to Bumblebee?

Bumblebee drives into theatres on December 21st.
