While they reigned supreme decades ago it was unexpected when Yakko, Wakko, and Dot made their return in Animaniacs 2020 on Hulu last year. After the first season's unmitigated success, it's no surprise that a second season is on its way.
It doesn't seem to be titled Animaniacs 2021 but rather Animaniacs Season 2 with Warner Bros confident that viewers will know the difference. And with the brand new trailer for the second season, that is certain to be the case.
Not only does the new trailer confirm that Animaniacs Season 2 hits Hulu in less than a month on November 5th, but it also seemingly puts to rest an age-old debate of whether or not the titular Warner siblings are in fact cats. An "80's Cats" theme song plays while Yakko, Wakko, and Dot go full-on Thundercats.
You're definitely going to want to watch it for yourself, and you can see it below alongside the official synopsis for Season 2 of Animaniacs.
Yakko, Wakko and Dot return for an all-new season of this iconic, family-friendly series with something for everyone: pop culture parodies, musical showstoppers, takedowns of historical baddies...and even some important safety tips.
Join the Warners and Pinky and the Brain as they wreak havoc everywhere they go, from the Warner Bros. lot to an international beauty pageant and all the way into outer space. And keep an eye out for season one favorites Starbox & Cindy, as well as some rejected Animaniacs characters that were left on the cutting room floor.
