Bob's Burgers has become one of the most successful modern animated sitcoms to release since Family Guy and even The Simpsons! The series about a dad who runs a burger joint with his family and endures the weird cast of characters that come in and out of his doors has become one of the most beloved shows for its heart and deadpan humor that feels more real than other shows.
Now, series creators Loren Bouchard, Wendy Molyneux, and Lizzie Molyneux are taking the magic of Bob's Burgers and bringing it to a new family and new series titled The Great North. Taking things further up north, the series stars Nick Offerman (Parks & Recreation), Jenny Slate (Parks & Recreation), Will Forte (Last Man on Earth), and Megan Mullally (Will & Grace) as a family who is ready to go out and see the world. At the same time, their dad wants a close family unit.
The new series shares a lot of the same comedic flair as its predecessor and adds to it by introducing characters that are the same type of weird that viewers love, but they live in a completely new environment that will spawn even stranger moments. A teaser has released that gives a taste of what to expect from the show, and some of the voice work from the main cast!
The Great North looks to be another hit for FOX but will you be there for the premiere? We would love to hear your thoughts on the new series and trailer in the comments below!
The Great North follows the Alaskan adventures of the Tobin family as single dad Beef does his best to keep his weird bunch of kids close, especially as the artistic dreams of his only daughter Judy lead her away from the family fishing boat and into the glamorous world of the local mall.
The Great North is coming to FOX this February!
