The wait for Marvel Studios' first animated project is less than two days from being over. The newest Marvel Cinematic Universe Disney+ series, What If...?, hits the streamer on Wednesday.
At this point, the marketing train isn't slowing down, so it's almost more surprising when there isn't new teaser content. For instance, while we shared two character posters today spotlighting Captain Carter and Hydra Stomper Steve, a new teaser trailer for the series dropped just a few hours later.
Unsurprisingly, the trailer is narrated by The Watcher, though it seems to give us a better idea of what to expect from the first episode. In the teaser, there was an accident with Steve's serum experiment, which leads to Peggy taking his place.
From there, it seems as though a domino effect takes place for several of the characters. Hence, it teases quite a bit for anyone from that era, and it also establishes that instead of Steve living through to the Avengers, Carter does instead. Take a look at the footage for yourself below.
