Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures debuted in November 2018 and new episodes were released weekly up until July 2019 — wherein the animated series consisted of 36 shorts. Galaxy of Adventures is a series of animated shorts which retell iconic stories and moments of the Star Wars saga. For instance, there's one that depicts Luke Skywalker's battle against Jabba the Hutt's Rancor.

The shorts debut on the Star Wars Kids YouTube channel. Speaking of; the official channel recently debuted a new trailer for the upcoming second season of Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures. This season will presumably span many months just as the previous one did. What's more, StarWars.com has released some stills from upcoming episodes.

It seems the second season will mainly focus on characters and moments of the Star Wars sequel trilogy — that being Star Wars: Episode VII — The Force Awakens, Star Wars: Episode VIII — The Last Jedi, and Star Wars: Episode IX — The Rise of Skywalker. However, there is at least one still that features a moment from the original trilogy.
